 A special proposal for the popularization of 3D
Scanner Solutionix, a worldwide leading brand
in the high-end 3D scanner market, has recently launched Rexcan CS Plus that is
designed with a new concept of ‘Automatic 3D scanner’ for the popularization of
3D scanners.
The most prominent feature of the
newly launched Rexcan CS plus is that it not only satisfies the world-wide
scanner market by adopting the Blue LED light source which has become an
emerging trend, but it boasts its compact design and provides users with
convenience through its unique automated technology, where all the optical 3D
scanners being introduced so far have not had. Key Features Automatic Scanning & Active Sync. One of the key features of Rexcan CS plus is to enable users to get their whole object scanning done very easily and quickly with just a single click of a button. Rexcan CS plus also features the patented Active sync technology that enables users to intuitively recognize any scanning position and to add more scans where it may be needed, by actively synchronizing the model and camera views with just a mouse click.  No targets or manual alignment needed Since most of the area type scanners provide users with automatic alignment process that requires targets (or markers) to be attached on the surface of the object, this functionality is regarded as highly advantageous when compared with laser type scanners. Despite the benefit of this functionality, it is true that it sometimes could be a cumbersome process for users to attach targets on every object and that the loss of data on the relevant area was inevitable. However, Rexcan CS Plus in contrast offers absolute convenience for users through the use of pre-calculated axis information and of the intelligent shape recognition features, without requiring any targets. Ease of scanning path generation A question may arise naturally from you about the automatic scanning, “Is it really easy to generate and manage the scanning path?” The Rexcan CS Plus uses a pre-registered scan path for an automated scanning job, which is not based on the complex programming method, but simply on the angle setting of the TA300 Turn table. Thus, users can conveniently generate, modify, delete, and add the scan path without the special scanning know-how and experience. This function is very convenient in a way that users can easily customize their own scan path for even objects having the complex geometry. Also, Rexcan CS Plus provides the scanning environment where users can repeatedly obtain the scan data from the similar objects using the pre-programmed scan path. Automatic Calibration Calibration is necessary for the compensation of the scanner, and most of the high-end scanners including Rexcan CS plus provide the ‘user-calibration’ functionality, enabling users to proceed with calibration easily by themselves. Especially, Rexcan CS Plus fits well with the concept of automation as its calibration process is easily done in an automated way. Once the calibration panel is installed, clicking the calibration wizard will walk you through the whole process, which may have been essential, but difficult for users to do previously. However, users are now expected to experience a genuinely user-friendly, yet automated calibration process with the CS Plus. Can be installed on your desk Until now users had to constantly move to and from their workplace and workroom for their daily works and scanning jobs. Thanks to its compact design that CS Plus offers, users can focus more on their everyday work by leaving their scanning job with the automated scanner, CS Plus, which is perfect for the effective work environment. Sadly, limitations of the object
size or weight exist among automated measuring equipment or solution that
maximizes the convenience for users.
To eliminate the limitations of
the automated scanner, Solutionix has built the dual modules for the scanner
sensor to be detachable from the operating stage, where the flexibility and
mobility of the CS Plus comes from.
Now majority of the CS Plus users
choose to scan objects automatically, but in case they are to take the scanner
to a different place or whenever large or heavy parts are to be scanned, users
can easily detach the scanner sensor from Rexcan CS Plus, and can still proceed
with all their scanning needs by having it installed on either a tri-pod or
stand.
